TO LIFT OR TO LEVEL… THAT IS THE QUESTION.
Lifting and leveling kits are installed for achieving the same goal: to allow space for larger tires and to increase ground clearance by raising the truck body away from the axle. In short, leveling is a much more affordable option, however it will not provide much difference in height if you are going for that sky-high look on your build.

What is Leveling?
Leveling kits increase the height of the front end of a vehicle to match the back end’s stock height. They can provide approximately a maximum of 2 inches of height.
- Height Increase: 1-2 inches
- Tire Size: 33-35 inches
- Good For: Daily driving, sled pulling, towing, off-road use
What is Lifting?
Lifting kits use modified suspension parts to lift the truck higher. These lift kits can be purchased between 2-10 inches in size; 2″ for a subtle change, or 10″ for a more dramatic look to the build.
- Height Increase: 2-10 inches
- Tire Size: 35-40 inches
- Good For: Mud, sand, snow, style, ground clearance
