Regen On Demand† allows drivers to recapture energy and can extend a supertruck’s range simply by holding the steering wheel’s Regen On Demand paddle when deceleration is needed. The supertrucks use regenerative braking to convert the energy created from braking into electricity to recharge the battery energy and help maximize range.

Discover how One-Pedal Driving† in the GMC HUMMER EV SUV allows you to control acceleration and deceleration with just the accelerator. One-Pedal Driving captures energy using regenerative braking to slow the vehicle down and repurpose that energy to help extend driving range.
